On June 20-22, 2022, The 9th International Symposium on Sensor Science conference was held at the Center for Advanced Materials and Technologies CEZAMAT.

Katarzyna Tokarska, PhD Eng., presented the poster “A fully integrated microfluidic-based POC device for COVID-19 testing”, which won in the Best Poster Presentation category. The € 500 prize was sponsored by Sensors.

The main topics of the conference were chemical sensors, biosensors, physical sensors, optical / photonic sensors, sensor applications, specialized optical fibers, materials, microflows, configurations and strategies for sensor development. The conference was organized by Photonics Society of Poland , Warsaw University of Technology and MDPI’s Sensors .
