PRELUDIUM BIS-4

Project

Development of new scalable methods for producing acid-free crystal sources for use in the production of fibers and printed tracks from carbon nanotubes – an experimental and simulation approach.

Description

The aim of the project is to search for experimental and theoretical studies that enable the development of methods for scalable acid-free sources of carbon nanotube crystals, which can be further included in the spinning of nanotube fibers from them. Nanotubular fibers for a material with a further future that combines the functions of producing textile fibers with very high energy conductivity and lightness, which can be used in flexible, wearable and textile electronics, as well as in medicine, sports and defense. This 4-year project will conduct experimental research under the supervision of dr hab. Eng. Agnieszka Łękawy-Raus, Department of Printed Electronics, Textronics and Assembly, Center for Advanced Materials and Technologies CEZAMAT and modeling available in cooperation with dr Karolina Milowska – Ikerbasque Research Fellow, from CIC nanoGUNE, Spain
