On September 16, 2022, representatives of two universities met at the CEZAMAT Center for Advanced Materials and Technologies: the Medical University of Warsaw and the Warsaw University of Technology.

During the meeting, the university authorities declared cooperation between the Medical University of Warsaw and Warsaw University of Technology . Both universities will combine their resources and competences so that they can complement and strengthen each other in their development.

The meeting was attended by a large group of representatives of both universities and, above all, representatives of the university authorities – Prof. Mariusz Malinowski , Vice-Rector for Science, WUT, and Prof. Piotr Pruszczyk , Vice-Rector for Science and Technology Transfer, Medical University of Warsaw. On the part of CEZAMAT, the guests were welcomed by Mariusz Wielec – CEZAMAT Director.

The entire cooperation is to take place primarily thanks to the capabilities and facilities provided by the CEZAMAT Center for Advanced Materials and Technology of the Warsaw University of Technology. The possibilities of our laboratory spaces were presented by Prof. Elżbieta Malinowska , Deputy Director of CEZAMAT. Then, the solutions, technologies, research facilities and achievements of individual departments were presented: Prof. Małgorzata Jakubowska – head of the Department of Printed Electronics, Textronics and Assembly, Prof. Monika Staniszewska – head of the Department of Microbiology, Molecular Genetics and Genomics, Prof. Mariusz Pietrzak – head of the Medical Diagnostics Department and Paulina Trzaskowska, PhD Eng. – research assistant in the Medical Biotechnology Department.
