The Eastern Border Protection Conference and Trade Fair “BORDERS” was held on September 29, 2022 at the CEZAMAT Center for Advanced Materials and Technologies. The Warsaw University of Technology took the honorary patronage over the event.

The 5th edition of the Eastern Border Protection Conference and Fair Borders 2022 was held on September 29 at the CEZAMAT headquarters. The one-day event was entirely related to the technical links of the world of science for uniformed services, in particular the Border Guard.

 

The BORDERS fair was held under the patronage of the Commander-in-Chief of the Border Guard and the Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology. Among the invited guests was Prof. Adam Woźniak , WUT Vice-Rector for Development, Minister Mariusz Gojny , Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Finance, Deputy Head of the National Revenue Administration, Minister Marcin Romanowski, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Justice and Minister, Artur Soboń, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Finance.

 
During the Fair, guests could see the offer of several exhibitors specializing in technologies related to defense, monitoring, communication and tactical equipment. Technologies developed by the Faculty of Physics in cooperation with CEZAMAT were presented at the stand of the Warsaw University of Technology.

In the conference blocks, the following topics were discussed: technological perspectives in key border protection solutions, technological challenges in the field of individual sections of the Polish border in the context of the current situation in Europe, and the presentation of technical solutions of manufacturers for officers of the Border Guard and the National Revenue Administration.
