On 15 April 2024, the Centre for Advanced Materials and Technology CEZAMAT at the Warsaw University of Technology hosted a delegation from the Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (TSRI).

On behalf of the authorities of the Warsaw University of Technology, the delegation was welcomed by Prof. Mariusz Malinowski – Vice-Rector for Science WUT.

The Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute delegation was led by Dr Tuo-Hung Hou – Director General.

The guests presented the research areas and teaching capabilities in which they specialise. Representatives of Taiwan’s scientific community talked about opportunities for international cooperation and presented the research offer and scientific achievements.

The teaching offer of the WUT Institute of Microelectronics and Optoelectronics was presented by Prof. Witold Pleskacz.

The delegation participants visited CEZAMAT WUT laboratories and technical facilities, and became introduced to projects and technologies being developed at the Warsaw University of Technology.
