On May 17, 2024, at the Center for Advanced Materials and Technologies CEZAMAT of the Warsaw University of Technology, we hosted a delegation of representatives from Hyundai Rotem.

On behalf of the Warsaw University of Technology, the delegation was welcomed by Prof. Adam Woźniak, Vice-Rector for Development. The University was also represented by: Mariusz Wielec, Director of CEZAMAT WUT; Aleksandra Mościcka-Studzińska, Deputy Director of CEZAMAT WUT; Justyna Choińska-Jackiewicz, Head of Innovation Brokers Unit at the Center for Innovation; Prof. Elżbieta Malinowska; Prof. Maciej Sypek and Prof. Mariusz Zdrojek.

The Hyundai Rotem delegation included: Senior Vice President Jeong Yeob Lee; Senior Vice President Euiseong Lee; Vice President Junmo Seo; Senior Manager Dowha Kim; Senior Manager Sungho Kim; Senior Manager Han Soo Lee; Senior Manager Gunhyung Lee; Chanwoo Bin and Krzysztof Merzel.

Representatives of the Warsaw University of Technology presented the research potential of the university, discussed possibilities for international cooperation, and showcased the R&D offerings.

The MoU signed during the meeting establishes a framework for cooperation between both parties in the development and implementation of new technologies, including in the defense sector.
