The official inauguration of the 2022/2023 academic year took place on October 5 at the CEZAMAT Center for Advanced Materials and Technologies.

The ceremony began with the singing by the Choir of the Warsaw University of Technology and the guests of the national anthem of the Republic of Poland. On behalf of the authorities of the Warsaw University of Technology, prof. dr hab. Eng. Adam Woźniak , who made an occasional speech and wished the CEZAMAT employees prosperity and success. Next, the speech was made by Mariusz Wielec , who presented the history of CEZAMAT and further development plans of the unit.
Occasional inaugural lecture entitled Intel-Europe Research Partnership in Accelerating Europe’s Semiconductor and Packaging Research Advancement and Enabling Moore’s Law and Beyond was delivered by Dr. Robert Chau – Director INTEL Corporation.

During the ceremony, the Rector’s Awards were also presented. I degree individual award for lifetime achievement was awarded to prof. dr hab. Eng. Elżbieta Malinowska . I degree individual award for scientific achievements in 2020-2021 was awarded to dr hab. Monika Staniszewska , prof. universities. 1st degree team award for scientific achievements in 2020-2021 was awarded to dr hab. eng. Elżbieta Jastrzębska , prof. universities. 1st degree team award for participation in the work of the team of the Faculty of Chemistry awarded with the 1st degree Rector’s Prize for scientific achievements in 2020-2021 was awarded to dr inż. Magdalena Flont . 1st degree team award for participation in the work of the team of the Faculty of Chemistry awarded with the 1st degree Rector’s Prize for scientific achievements in 2020-2021 went to dr inż. Kamil Żukowski.
