Biography
A graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences at Bialystok University of Technology, she took up a position at the Medical University, where her main research area became the reprogramming of cells with various mutations of the CFTR gene. The aim of these studies was to transform them into stem cells, using fibroblasts and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) for this purpose. The next stage of her scientific development was involvement in a project funded by the National Science Centre (NCN) entitled "The Role of Autophagy and Aging Processes in the Context of Chemoresistance of Cancer Cells: In Vitro Studies, In Vivo Studies, and Analysis of Clinical Material." The subject of these studies was samples taken from lung cancer patients, focusing particularly on the analysis of the autophagy process in the context of cancer cell resistance to chemotherapy. Since 2024, she has been working at the CEZAMAT Laboratory of Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, and Genomics as a junior researcher.
