Meeting of Intel Corp. representatives with the authorities of the Warsaw University of Technology at the CEZAMAT WUT
The main topics of the meeting, which took place on 29.01.2024, were the development and future of microelectronics in Europe, human resources training needs and cooperation opportunities.
The meeting was attended by CEO Gregory S. Anderson and Max Mieszko Dropinski and Milena Łuczko-Boczuła, representing Intel. The WUT was represented by the Rector Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba, the Vice-Rector for Development Prof. Adam Woźniak and the Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology Prof. Michał Malinowski, Prof. Witold Pleskacz, Prof. Robert Mroczyński, Dr Tomasz Borejko, Dr Jakub Walczak from the WUT Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, and the Deputy Director of CEZAMAT WUT Aleksandra Mościcka-Studzińska, Prof. Romuald Beck, Prof. Tomasz Skotnicki and Dr Piotr Wiśniewski.
During the meeting, the participants presented plans for the development of Intel Corp. activities in Poland and the activity of the Warsaw University of Technology in the field of semiconductor technologies, including teaching.
The participants discussed Intel Corp.’s current needs and possible forms of cooperation. The guests visited the infrastructure and got acquainted with the research and training potential of the Centre for Advanced Materials and Technologies CEZAMAT at the Warsaw University of Technology.
