Meeting of the DIAGNOTROP consortium members at CEZAMAT WUT
On 21 September 2023, a meeting of the Steering Committee of the DIAGNOTROP project was held at CEZAMAT PW.
Representatives of the Military Medical Institute – National Research Institute (Consortium Leader), the University of Łódź, the Jarosław Dąbrowski Military University of Technology, the Ludwik Hirszfeld Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Dynamic Safety Corporation Sp. z o.o. and the Warsaw University of Technology met at the Centre for Advanced Materials and Technology CEZAMAT WUT to discuss the progress of the project and familiarise themselves with the activities and research capabilities of CEZAMAT WUT.
The guests had a study visit to the Technology Building, during which they were able to get to know the research apparatus, technological infrastructure, achievements and research directions of individual biotechnology laboratories.
The project ‘Innovative integrated system for field and stationary diagnosis of parasitic, bacterial and viral infections in PKW areas (DIAGNOTROP)’ aims to create an innovative, integrated system for specific, fast and reliable diagnosis of invasive and infectious diseases of parasitic, bacterial and viral aetiology in soldiers of the Polish Armed Forces stationed abroad and returning from military operations. The project manager is Robert Zdanowski PhD.
Warsaw University of Technology – Centre for Advanced Materials and Technologies CEZAMAT is one of six entities implementing the project. The project is co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development under competition No. 12/2022 for the execution and financing of projects for national defence and security.
