Our DIH is able to perform demanding tasks in fields such as micro- and nanoelectronics and photonics, biomedicine, biotechnology and medical technologies. The operating model is based on providing services to business entities and individual users, covering the full life cycle of product or service innovations. 

Our approach consists of 5 steps:

Step 1 – the hub collects, analyses and accepts requests to solve a client’s problem;

Step 2 – together with the client, the expected technical specification of the solution is prepared and the scope of its operation and a preliminary cost estimate are discussed;

Step 3 – based on the specification, a preliminary technical and implementation study of the product or service is carried out; 

Step 4 – if the client is still interested in a specific product being supplied by the HUB, special research, prototype development and technical testing are carried out at the HUB’s laboratories;

Step 5 – the HUB can produce a batch of the product for distribution based on an order from the customer.

This mechanism is accompanied by additional services, such as advice on the implementation of a product innovation or obtaining relevant certifications or external financing for the client to start production. All such services are tailored to individual needs – there is no basic package of services.

The main subject-specific areas of technology for the CEZAMAT DIH are smart city, bio-technology and IoT/ Industry 4.0.
